Cannot read property 'manifest' of undefined Firebase Cordova

I was implementing Firebase Phone Auth on Cordova project and tring to add to config.xml -- confronted these errors. Here is how to solved it

Before that

Install Plugin in Cordova Project

cordova plugin add cordova-universal-links-plugin

1. Open File from

./plugins/cordova-universal-links-plugin/hooks/lib/android/manifestWriter.js

2. Replace the pathToManifest

var pathToManifest = path.join(cordovaContext.opts.projectRoot, 'platforms', 'android', 'AndroidManifest.xml'); console.log("pathToManifest:" + pathToManifest)// returning empty. var manifestSource = xmlHelper.readXmlAsJson(pathToManifest);

3. replace with pathToManifest with platforms/android/app/src/main as below

var pathToManifest = path.join(cordovaContext.opts.projectRoot, 'platforms', 'android', 'app', 'src', 'main', 'AndroidManifest.xml');

4. test it on device

cordova run android
